Beauty Therapy Korea is a fully established and legally recognized entity based in Seoul, South Korea. We possess all the necessary documents and medical tourism certificates issued in accordance with Korean law. Additionally, we are fully insured as per the requirements of the Korean government.

Payment and Refund Policy

Please note: This policy is set by the clinics in accordance with Korean law, not by Beauty Therapy Korea. We have outlined general guidelines for your convenience, but specific details may vary depending on the clinic.

Payment Policy

• Advance Payment Required: All procedures must be paid for before the treatment begins.

• Accepted Payment Methods: Cash, bank transfers, and credit cards are generally accepted. Some clinics may also accept PayPal.

• Transaction Fees: The sender is responsible for all transaction fees to ensure that the clinic receives the full payment.

• Credit Card Limitations: International credit cards often have daily transaction limits. Notify your bank that you will be making payments in Korea and consider increasing your daily spending limit.

• Surgery Date Deposit: A deposit, typically 10% of the total cost, is required to secure your surgery date. This amount may vary depending on the clinic and the procedure. Without the deposit, your surgery date cannot be guaranteed.

Refund Policy

Refund policies are determined by individual clinics in accordance with Korean law, based on Regulation 2014-4 of the Korea Consumer Agency. Below are widely applied refund policies:

Surgery Refund Policy

• No Refunds After Surgery Begins: Once the surgery begins, no refunds will be issued.

• No Refunds for Dissatisfaction: No partial or full refunds will be given for dissatisfaction with your surgery. You will sign a statement agreeing to this before the operation.

• No Reimbursement for Personal Expenses: No reimbursements will be provided for any personal expenses.

 

Deposit Refund Policy

Your surgery time slot is reserved specifically for you, including all post-operative checkup times. Cancellations affect other patients and the clinic's schedule, leading to financial implications. Therefore, deposits are typically non-refundable if cancellations are made at short notice.

Partial Deposit Refund Policy

• 30 Business Days: 90% refund

• 15-29 Business Days: 50% refund

• Less than 15 Business Days: 0% refund

 

Important Notes

• Working hours are generally 09:00 - 19:00, Monday to Friday, Korean Standard Time.

• Cancellations must be made in writing and sent to our email: beautytherapykorea@gmail.com. Phone calls or text messages are not sufficient.

• The timestamp on the email will determine the refund timeline.

• Refunds are issued after deducting any incurred transfer fees.

• Cancellation requests during Korean holidays are not considered business days.

• We cannot alter the clinic/hospital refund policies. These policies are set by the clinics and hospitals in accordance with Korean law.
